The Brockway Carpets Edit

In this month’s blog, we focus on Brockway Carpets. They, like us, are a family-run business and we’ve enjoyed a good relationship with them over the years. They are not only based in Kidderminster (West Midlands) but also make their carpets there too. Archway Carpets owner, Darrel Smith, has been up to their factory, most recently in March 2019 which you can read about here: The Brockway Carpets Factory Visit. So this month, it’s not us choosing the carpets to share with you, it’s our customers. Here are Brockway Carpets' most popular flooring choices - in no particular order.

Dimensions Heathers

Dimensions Heathers is s flecked or heather carpet which is 80% wool (and 10% nylon, 10% polyester). The wool combined with the synthetic fibres ensures this carpet will look good for a very long time. It’s suitable for all areas of the home and comes in an extensive range of modern subtle tones which allows furniture and ornaments to come through.

Lakeland Herdwick takes its name from the sheep it takes its wool from which are native to the Cumbrian Fells in the Lake District.

“Grown in Cumbria, spun in Yorkshire and crafted in Kidderminster, Brockway Lakeland Herdwick carpets are authentically British. The appearance and rugged durability of the carpets result from the natural resilience of one of Britain’s best-loved and hardiest sheep breeds.”

Whether your house is the country or you want your house, or flat, to have that country feel, this carpet is a perfect choice.
