Celebrating the synthetic with Cormar Carpets

Compared to wool carpets, polypropylene carpets (or manmade in old money) can appear to be the poorer relation to its naturally rich cousin. Wool carpets are made from sheep coats, while the other is a synthetic fibre produced in a factory. Although this is true, but it would be a disservice to leave the distinction there.

Polypropylene and polyamide carpets have come along way, and there are some great British companies making quality synthetic carpets.

One such company is Cormar Carpets who have been operating for nearly 100 years making carpets in one of their two Lancashire mills. They make wool carpets too, but today we are going to concentrate on their synthetic coverings.

We have worked with Cormar Carpets for a long time because they meet two essential requirements here at Archway Carpets. First of all, they make good quality synthetic carpets which are ideal for busy family homes where spillages and muddy boots are commonplace. Secondly, their colour palates are modern, and their carpets come in a variety of weights.

This month, we thought we would share images from their nine Easy Clean Ranges that are perfect for all areas of the home. All Cormar Carpets are bleach-cleanable, and all come with a 10 Year Stain and Wear Guarantee.
