In this month's Carpet Guy, we're at the shop but this time virtually because we are showing off the new virtual tour. Darrell 'walks' us through the door and explains how it works; how to access the carpet brands we work with, and where to watch previous episodes of the Carpet Guy. The Carpet Guy - Q&A with Mary Gregory from Office Assist

The Carpet Guy is back with a new feature. Each month, alongside our usual Carpet Guy videos, the Carpet Guy (Darrell Smith) will take questions from Archway Carpets' loyal customer base. To kick us off, Mary Gregory of Office Assist (the virtual assistant for the modern business) asks the Carpet Guy which carpet is best for a dining room that opens up into the garden when you have a dog.


The Carpet Guy 28 - The Zoom Sessions

With the UK in lockdown, this month the Archway Carpets Marketing Dept took to Zoom to interview The Carpet Guy aka Darrell Smith. In this video, Darrell explains that he is receiving flooring enquiries and can measure and fit carpets but must do so under the current restrictions. Darrell explains there are delays in ordering and fitting carpet of up to four weeks. The Carpet Guy concludes the video by telling us that he's taken up running. The Carpet Guy 21 - Back Open!

With lockdown easing and with non-essential shops allowed to reopen, The Carpet Guy returns to tell us that Archway Carpets is back open for business! In this episode, Darrell visits a new potential customer in Woodbridge for an in-home consultation. These are free and no obligation. Darrell gets to see the home, how it is used and takes measurements. By doing this, he is now best placed to make his suggestions while sticking to your budget. Carpet and flooring samples can be brought along however, these homeowners, living just down the road from the shop, will visit the shop to look through samples.


The Carpet Guy 20 - The Lockdown Episodes

With the Archway Carpets shop closed the Carpet Guy (Darrell Smith) updates us on the volunteering he is doing for the NHS, Age UK Suffolk and Home Start Suffolk. Darrell also finds time to catch up on some reading with The Levelled by local author John Bryant (bought from Dial Lane Books in Ipswich) while also helping out with The Woodbridge Emporium's Book Hug campaign.
